Paint Correction

Swirl mark removal, scratch removal, gloss enhancement, and restoration back to that new "showroom" shine.

Paint correction is the term used to describe the process of carefully removing surface defects in a vehicle's paintwork to improve it's appearance and "correct" it back to like new or better condition. Proper paint correction is a very time consuming process. We are professionally trained and certified "Paintsmiths", having the experience and capability to handle many different types of concerns, like polishing, scratch removal, paint transfer, over spray, texture removal, wet sanding, rotary cutting, drip removal, headlight restoration, glass polishing, and much more.

An in-person consultation and inspection is key to determining the goals of the client and what steps are necessary to achieve their desired paint finish. During this process, we can advise on cost, timeline, and expectations.

"The results you get are the product of the effort you put in. Do it right, and they speak for themselves. Cut corners, and they speak about you."

Hammer Down Tour 2019 & 2020

The past 2 years we took part in a very exclusive training opportunity that focused on the advanced paint correction techniques like wet sanding, rotary polishing, razor blading, texture removal and edge work. Led by multi- Ridler and Pebble Beach Award winner Jason Killmer of KXK Dynamics and Chris Funkenhauser of Funker Auto Spa, who are both undoubtedly two of the best detailers in the world, we learned the ropes of more fine line techniques associated with advanced correction. Think of this as us going for our PhD in paint correction. After graduating, we were given the title Paintsmith. We then attended and co-hosted for a second year in 2020. With this new training, we continue to further our knowledge of the craft and are now able to offer even more services to our clients.
